All Questions
How long does epoxy flooring last in Ontario's climate?
A properly prepped epoxy floor lasts 10-15+ years. Longevity comes from diamond-grind prep, a quality polyaspartic topcoat, and the right system for the freeze-thaw and road-salt exposure your floor sees.
How much does epoxy flooring cost in Toronto?
Basement epoxy runs $4.50-$7/sq ft, garage quartz-flake with polyaspartic $6.50-$10/sq ft, and metallic/decorative $9-$16/sq ft. Commercial and industrial work is custom-quoted after an on-site assessment.
What's the difference between epoxy and polyaspartic?
Epoxy builds a thick, durable base; polyaspartic cures in about 24 hours, stays UV-stable with no yellowing, and applies in colder temperatures. We often pair an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat for the best of both.
Will my garage epoxy survive Ontario winters and road salt?
Yes. We use road-salt-proof polyaspartic topcoats and hot-tire-resistant systems with anti-slip grit standard, engineered specifically for GTA garages and freeze-thaw cycles.
Why do you moisture-test basement slabs before installing?
Concrete vapour drive is the leading cause of bubbling and delamination. We run ASTM F2170 relative-humidity testing on every basement slab and install a vapour barrier when needed, so your floor won't fail.
Can you install commercial floors without shutting down our facility?
Yes. We offer 24-hour off-hours installs and fast-cure systems so businesses avoid daytime downtime. Many commercial floors are ready for use the next morning.
What materials do you use?
100% solid, zero-VOC commercial-grade epoxy on every job, residential and commercial alike. We're authorized installers of PUR Epoxy and MPC Coatings and never use solvent-based budget materials.
Do you serve my area in the GTA?
We cover the entire Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto, Etobicoke, Scarborough, North York, Mississauga, Oakville, Vaughan, Brampton, Markham, Richmond Hill, Burlington, and east to Ajax, Pickering, Whitby, and Oshawa.
